﴿ وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُهْلِكُوٓا۟ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ۖ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾

“And so, when Our [heavenly] messengers came to Abraham with the glad tiding [of the birth of Isaac], they [also] said, “Behold, we are about to destroy the people of that land, for its people are truly evildoers!””

( ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى ) من الله بإسحاق ويعقوب ، ( قالوا إنا مهلكو أهل هذه القرية ) يعني قوم لوط ، والقرية سدوم ( إن أهلها كانوا ظالمين )
