﴿ قَالَ يَٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَٰلِحٍۢ ۖ فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ ﴾

“[God] answered: "O Noah, behold, he was not of thy family, for, verily, he was unrighteous in his conduct. And thou shalt not ask of Me anything whereof thou canst not have any knowledge: thus, behold, do I admonish thee lest thou become one of those who are unaware [of what is right]."”

قال الله: يا نوح إن ابنك الذي هلك ليس من أهلك الذين وعدتك أن أنجيهم؛ وذلك بسبب كفره، وعمله عملا غير صالح، وإني أنهاك أن تسألني أمرًا لا علم لك به، إني أعظك لئلا تكون من الجاهلين في مسألتك إياي عن ذلك.
