﴿ وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ ﴾

“For [thus it was:] when We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam!"- they all prostrated themselves, save Ibis, who refused [to do it];”

واذكر - أيها الرسول - إذ قلنا للملائكة: اسجدوا لآدم سجود تحية وإكرام، فأطاعوا، وسجدوا، لكن إبليس امتنع من السجود.
