﴿ فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ ﴾

“and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: “Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!””

فلما رأى كل واحد من الفريقين الآخر قال أصحاب موسى: إنَّ جَمْعَ فرعون مُدْرِكنا ومهلكنا.
