﴿ أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ ﴾

“Art thou not aware that it is God who makes the night grow longer by shortening the day, and makes the day grow longer by shortening the night, and that He has made the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws], each running its course for a term set [by Him] and that God is fully aware of all that you do?”

ألم تر أن الله يأخذ من ساعات الليل، فيطول النهار، ويقصر الليل، ويأخذ من ساعات النهار، فيطول الليل، ويقصر النهار، وذلَّل لكم الشمس والقمر، يجري كل منهما في مداره إلى أجل معلوم محدد، وأن الله مُطَّلع على كل أعمال الخلق مِن خير أو شر، لا يخفى عليه منها شيء؟
