﴿ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَا ۖ كُلَّ مَا جَآءَ أُمَّةًۭ رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ ۚ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًۭا وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ ۚ فَبُعْدًۭا لِّقَوْمٍۢ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴾

“And We sent forth Our apostles, one after another: [and] every time their apostle came to a community, they gave him the lie: and so We caused them to follow one another [into the grave], and let them become [mere] tales: and so - away with the folk who would not believe!”

এরপর আমরা একের পর এক আমাদের রাসূলগণকে প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন জাতির কাছে তার রাসূল এসেছেন তখনই তারা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে। অতঃপর আমরা তাদের একের পর এককে ধ্বংস করে তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয় করে দিয়েছি। কাজেই যারা ঈমান আনে না সে সমস্ত সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য ধ্বংসই রইল!
