﴿ وَمُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴾

“"And [I have come] to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, and to make lawful unto you some of the things which [aforetime] were forbidden to you. And I have come unto you with a message from your Sustainer; remain, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me.”

‘আর আমার সামনে তাওরাতের যা রয়েছে তার সত্যায়নকারীরূপে এবং তোমাদের জন্য যা হারাম ছিল তার কিছু হালাল করে দিতে। এবং আমি তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের নিকট নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি। কাজেই তোমরা আল্লাহ্‌র তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর। ’
