﴿ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْبَعْثِ ۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْبَعْثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴾

“But those who [in their lifetime] were endowed with knowledge and faith will say: “Indeed, you have been tardy in [accepting as true] what God has revealed, [and you have waited] until the Day of Resurrection: this, then, is the Day of Resurrection: but you - you were determined not to know it!”

আর যাদেরকে জ্ঞান ও ঈমান দেয়া হয়েছে [১] তারা বলবে, 'অবশ্যই তোমরা আল্লাহর লিখা অনুযায়ী পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত অবস্থান করেছ। সুতরাং এটাই তো পুনরুত্থান দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা জানতে না।' [১] আল্লামা শানকীতী বলেন, এখানে যাদেরকে জ্ঞান ও ঈমান দেয়া হয়েছে বলে, ফেরেশতাগণ, রাসূলগণ, নবীগণ, সৎবান্দাগণ সবই উদ্দেশ্য হতে পারে। [আদওয়াউল বায়ান]
