﴿ إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لِلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ ﴾

“BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby], does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate.”

নিশ্চয় আমরা আপনার প্রতি সত্যসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের জন্য; তারপর যে সৎপথ অবলম্বন করে সে তা করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য এবং যে বিপথগামী হয় সে তো বিপথগামী হয় নিজেরই ধ্বংসের জন্য, আর আপনি তাদের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক নন [১]। [১] অনুরূপ আয়াত দেখুন, সূরা আল-ইসরা: ১৫।
