﴿ وَلَقَدْ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ ﴾

“And yet, it has already been revealed to thee [O man,] as well as to those who lived before thee, that if thou ever ascribe divine powers to aught but God, all thy works shall most certainly have been in vain: for [in the life to come] thou shalt most certainly be among the lost.”

আর আপনার প্রতি ও আপনার পুর্ববর্তীদের প্রতি অবশ্যই ওহী করা হয়েছে যে, 'যদি আপনি শির্ক করেন তবে আপনার সমস্ত আমল তো নিষ্ফল হবে এবং অবশ্যই আপনি হবেন ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
