﴿ يَٰقَوْمِ لَكُمُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأْسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَآءَنَا ۚ قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ ﴾

““O my people! Yours is the dominion today, [and] most eminent are you on earth: but who will rescue us from God’s punishment, once it befalls us?” Said Pharaoh: “I but want to make you see what I see myself; and I would never make you follow any path but that of rectitude!””

'হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আজ তোমাদেরই রাজত্ব, যমীনে তোমরাই প্রভাবশালী; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে পড়লে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে?' ফিরআউন বলল, 'আমি যা সঠিক মনে করি, তা তোমাদেরকে দেখাই। আর আমি তোমাদেরকে শুধু সঠিক পথই দেখিয়ে থাকি।'
