﴿ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًۭا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِىَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ ﴾

“And, indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God’s leave. Yet when God’s will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand].”

আর অবশ্যই আমরা আপনার পূর্বে অনেক রাসূল পাঠিয়েছি। আমরা তাদের কারো কারো কাহিনী আপনার কাছে বিবৃত করেছি এবং কারো কারো কাহিনী আপনার কাছে বিবৃত করিনি। আর আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া কোন নিদর্শন নিয়ে আসা কোন রাসূলের কাজ নয়। অতঃপর যখন আল্লাহর আদেশ আসবে তখন ন্যায়সংগতভাবে ফয়সালা হয়ে যাবে। আর তখন বাতিলপন্থীরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
