﴿ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ ﴾

“[Long] before those [who now deny resur­rection] did Noah’s people give the lie to this truth, and [so did] the folk of Ar-Rass, and [the tribes of] Thamud”

তাদের আগেও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল নূহের সম্প্রদায়, রাস্ এর অধিবাসী [১] ও সামূদ সম্প্রদায়, [১] সূরা আল-ফুরকানের ৩৮ নং আয়াতের ব্যাখ্যায় ‘রাস’ এর সম্প্রদায় সম্পর্কে আলোচনা চলে গেছে।
