﴿ يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴾

“[And] they say, "Indeed, when we return to the City [we,] the ones most worthy of honour will surely drive out therefrom those most contemptible ones!" However, all honour belongs to God, and [thus] to His Apostle and those who believe [in God]: but of this the hypocrites are not aware.”

তারা বলে, ‘আমরা মদীনায় ফিরে আসলে সেখান থেকে শক্তিশালীরা অবশ্যই দুর্বলদেরকে বের করে দেবে [১]।’ অথচ শক্তি-সম্মান তো আল্লাহরই, আর তাঁর রাসূল ও মুমিনদের। কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা এটা জানে না। [১] এটাও ইবনে উবাইয়ের উক্তি। [কুরতুবী, ফাতহুল কাদীরা]
