﴿ وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّآ إِلَّآ أَنْ ءَامَنَّا بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَآءَتْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ ﴾

“for thou takest vengeance on us only because we have come to believe in our Sustainer's messages as soon as they came to us. O our Sustainer! Shower us with patience in adversity, and make us die as men who have surrendered themselves unto Thee!"”

‘আর তুমি তো আমাদেরকে শাস্তি দিচ্ছ শুধু এ জন্যে যে,আমারা আমাদের রবের নিদর্শনে ঈমান এনেছি যখন তা আমাদের কাছে এসেছে। হে আমাদের রব! আমাদেরকে পরিপূর্ণ ধৈর্য দান করুন এবং মুসলিমরূপে আমাদেরকে মৃত্যু দিন।’
