﴿ أَفَمَنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ تَقْوَىٰ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنٍ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍۢ فَٱنْهَارَ بِهِۦ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾

“Which. then, is the better: he who has founded his building on God-consciousness and [a desire for] His goodly acceptance-or he who has founded his building on the edge of a water-worn, crumbling river-bank, so that it [is bound to] tumble down with him into the fire of hell? For, God does not grace with His guidance people who [deliberately] do wrong:”

যে ব্যাক্তি তার ঘরের ভিত্তি আল্লাহ্‌র তাকওয়া ও সন্তুষ্টির উপর স্থাপন করে সে উত্তম, না ঐ ব্যাক্তি উত্তম যে তার ঘরের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করে এক খাদের ধ্বংসোন্মুখ কিনারে, ফলে যা তাকেসহ জাহান্নামের আগুনে গিয়ে পড়ে? আর আল্লাহ্‌ যালিম সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়াত দেন না।
