﴿ مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍۢ ۖ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ ﴾

“[This, then, is] the parable of those who are bent on denying their Sustainer: all their works are as ashes which the wind blows about fiercely on a stormy day: [in the life to come,] they cannot achieve any benefit whatever from all [the good] that they may have wrought: for this [denial of God] is indeed the farthest one can go astray.”

যারা তাদের প্রতিপালককে অস্বীকার করে, তাদের বিবরণ এই যে, তাদের কর্মাবলী ভষ্মের মত যা ঝড়ের দিনে বাতাস প্রচন্ড বেগে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়।[১]যা তারা উপার্জন করে, তার কিছুই তারা তাদের কাজে লাগাতে পারে না; এটাই তো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তি। [১] কিয়ামতের দিন কাফেরদের ভালো কর্মসমূহেরও এই অবস্থা হবে যে তারা তার কোন প্রতিফল ও নেকী পাবে না।
