﴿ وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ﴾

“And most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of [labour's] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity”

নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদেরকে কিছু ভয় ও ক্ষুধা দ্বারা এবং কিছু ধনপ্রাণ এবং ফলের (ফসলের) নোকসান দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করব; আর তুমি ধৈর্যশীলদেরকে সুসংবাদ দাও।
