﴿ قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ صَفْرَآءُ فَاقِعٌۭ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ ٱلنَّٰظِرِينَ ﴾

“Said they: "Pray on our behalf unto thy Sustainer that He make clear to us what her colour should be. "[Mopes] answered: "Behold; He says it is to be a yellow cow, bright of hue, pleasing to the beholder."”

তারা বলল, ‘আমাদের জন্য তোমার প্রতিপালককে স্পষ্টরূপে জানিয়ে দিতে বল, তার (গাভীটির) রঙ কি?’ মূসা বলল, ‘আল্লাহ বলছেন, তা হলুদ বর্ণের গাভী, তার রং উজ্জ্বল গাঢ়; যা দর্শকদেরকে আনন্দ দেয়।’
