﴿ قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِىَ إِنَّ ٱلْبَقَرَ تَشَٰبَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ ﴾

“Said' they: "Pray on our behalf unto thy Sustainer that He make clear to us what she is to be like, for to us all cows resemble one another; and then, if God so wills, we shall truly be guided aright!"”

তারা বলল, ‘আমাদের জন্য তোমার প্রতিপালককে স্পষ্টভাবে জানিয়ে দিতে বল, গরুটি কি ধরনের? আমাদের নিকট গরু তো পরস্পর সাদৃশ্যশীল মনে হয়। আর আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে নিশ্চয় আমরা পথ পাব।’
