﴿ يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ مُّحْضَرًۭا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍۢ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدًۢا بَعِيدًۭا ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسَهُۥ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ ﴾

“On the Day when every human being will find himself faced with all the good that he has done, and with all the evil that he has done, [many a one] will wish that there were a long span of time between himself and that [Day]. Hence, God warns you to beware of Him; but God is most compassionate towards His creatures.”

(স্মরণ কর সেদিনকে) যেদিন প্রত্যেক সেই ব্যক্তি, যে ভাল কাজ করেছে, সে তা উপস্থিত পাবে এবং যে মন্দ কাজ করেছে, (সেও তা বিদ্যমান পাবে।) সেদিন সে কামনা করবে, যদি তার ও ওর (দুষ্কর্মের) মধ্যে বহু দূর ব্যবধান হতো! বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাঁর নিজের সম্বন্ধে তোমাদেরকে সাবধান করছেন। আর আল্লাহ দাসদের প্রতি অত্যন্ত অনুগ্রহশীল।
