﴿ وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًۭا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ ﴾

“For [thus it is:] if any of them is given the glad tiding of [the birth of] what he so readily attributes to the Most Gracious, his face darkens, and he is filled with suppressed anger:”

ওরা পরম দয়াময় আল্লাহর প্রতি যে কন্যা-সন্তান আরোপ করে, ওদের কাউকেও সে কন্যা সন্তানের সংবাদ দেওয়া হলে তার মুখমন্ডল কালো হয়ে যায় এবং সে অসহনীয় মনস্তাপে ক্লিষ্ট হয়।
