﴿ وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ ﴾

“And let not their worldly goods and [the happiness which they may derive from] their children excite thy admiration: God but wants to chastise them by these means in [the life of] this world, and [to cause] their souls to depart while they are [still] denying the truth.”

তাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি যেন তোমাকে বিস্মিত না করে; আল্লাহ তো শুধু এই চান যে, তিনি সে সবের মাধ্যমে দুনিয়ায় তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেবেন এবং কুফরী অবস্থাতেই তাদের প্রাণবায়ু বের হয়ে যাবে।
