As-Sajda • EN-AL-JALALAYN
﴿ فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍۢ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴾
“And [as for all such believers,] no human being can imagine what blissful delights, as yet hidden, await them [in the life to come] as a reward for all that they did.”
For no soul knows what has been kept hidden for them in the way of joyous sights a variant reading for ukhfiya has the imperfect tense ukhfī as a reward for what they used to do.
