Saba • EN-TAFSIR-AL-TUSTARI
﴿ ۞ قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَعِظُكُم بِوَٰحِدَةٍ ۖ أَن تَقُومُوا۟ لِلَّهِ مَثْنَىٰ وَفُرَٰدَىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۚ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُم مِّن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌۭ لَّكُم بَيْنَ يَدَىْ عَذَابٍۢ شَدِيدٍۢ ﴾
“Say: “I counsel you one thing only: Be [ever conscious of] standing before God, whether you are in the company of others or alone; and then bethink yourselves [that] there is no madness in [this prophet,] your fellow-man: he is only a warner to you of suffering severe to come.””
Say, �I will give you [one] admonition: that you stand before God, in twos and singly...�He said:The reckoning on the Day of Resurrection is [an appraisal of] four things: veracity (ṣidq) in speech, sincerity (ikhlāṣ) in actions, rectitude (istiqāma) with God in all affairs, and heedfulness(murāqaba) of God in every situation. But, God, Glorified and Exalted is He, knows best. His words, Exalted is He:
