﴿ لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ ﴾

“in order that you might gain mastery over them, and that, whenever you have mastered them, you might remember your Sustainer’s blessings and say: “Limitless in His glory is He who has made [all] this subservient to our use - since [but for Him,] we would not have been able to attain to it.”

that you may sit upon their backs and then remember your Lord�s grace when you are settledupon them� He said:Truly, God has privileged the prophets  and some of the veracious (ṣiddīqūn) with the cognisance(maʿrifa) of the blessings (niʿam) that God, Exalted is He, has bestowed upon them, before their disappearance, as well as the knowledge of God�s clemency (ḥilm) with them. However, the blessings of God, Exalted is He, are indeed diminished in the eyes of the person who does not recognise the blessings that God has granted him, other than those pertaining to his eating, drinking and riding [a beast of burden].His words, Exalted is He:
