Al-Lail • EN-TAFSIR-AL-TUSTARI
﴿ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ ﴾
“CONSIDER the night as it veils [the earth] in darkness,”
By the night as it enshrouds,He said:In its inner meaning it refers to the natural self (nafs al-ṭabʿ).
