Al-Hijr • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ ﴾
“but be conscious of God and disgrace me not!"”
(And keep your duty to Allah) fear Allah concerning that which is forbidden, (and shame me not!) do not humiliate me in front of my guests.
