An-Noor • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ ﴾
“[and who only hope] that God may reward them in accordance with the best that they ever did, and give them, out of His bounty, more [than they deserve]: for, God grants sustenance unto whom He wills, beyond all reckoning.”
(That Allah may reward them with the best of what they did) in the life of this world, (and increase reward for them of His bounty) for each one nine rewards. (Allah giveth blessings without stint to whom He will) He gives to whom He will without measure, or count or ever reminding them of what He gives them as a favour.
