Ash-Shu'araa • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴾
“but if they disobey thee, say, “I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!” –”
(And if they) the Quraysh (disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do) and say.
