﴿ قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴾

“Say: “Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!””

Say) O Muhammad, to the people of Mecca: (Travel in the land and see) and take admonition from (the nature of the sequel for the guilty) how was the end of the idolaters!
