﴿ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ ﴾

“But nay - they who are bent on denying the truth are lost in [false] pride, and [hence] deeply in the wrong.”

(Nay, but those who disbelieve) the disbelievers of Mecca (are in false pride and schism) dispute and enmity, and it is for this that Allah swore.
