﴿ أَمْ لَهُ ٱلْبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ ﴾

“Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons?”

(Or hath He daughters) or are you pleased for attributing daughters to Him while you yourselves dislike them (whereas ye have sons) whereas you chose sons?
