Al-Mulk • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًۭا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌۭ ﴾
“Yea, turn thy vision [upon it] again and yet again: [and every time] thy vision will fall back upon thee, dazzled and truly defeated….”
(Then look again and yet again) at the sky and reflect, (your sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim) before you see anything.
