Al-A'raaf • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَأُمْلِى لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ ﴾
“for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while. My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm!”
(I give them rein) I give them respite ((for) lo! My scheme is strong) My punishment and seizure is mighty.
