Al-Fajr • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ ﴾
“and therefore thy Sustainer let loose upon them a scourge of suffering:”
(Therefore thy Lord poured on them the disaster of His punishment) your Lord sent on them a severe punishment.
