﴿ وَإِذْ قَالَتِ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَٰمَرْيَمُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَٱصْطَفَىٰكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَآءِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾

“AND LO! The angels said: "O Mary! Behold, God has elected thee and made thee pure, and raised thee above all the women of the world.”

Commentary 1. In verse 42, the sentence: وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ (and has chosen you over women of all the worlds) refers to all women in that period of time. Therefore, the statement سیدۃ نسآءِ اھل الجنۃ فاطمۃ (Fatimah is the foremost among women of the Paradise) appearing in hadith does not contradict it. 2.
