﴿ فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ ﴾

“And so the two ate [of the fruit] thereof: and thereupon they became conscious of their nakedness and began to cover themselves with pieced-together leaves from the garden. And [thus] did Adam disobey his Sustainer, and thus did he fall into grievous error.”

آیت 121 فَاَکَلَا مِنْہَا فَبَدَتْ لَہُمَا سَوْاٰتُہُمَا ”چنانچہ حضرت آدم اور حضرت حوا علیہ السلام دونوں نے اس درخت کا پھل کھالیا۔ اس پھل کے چکھتے ہی وہ دونوں بےلباس ہوگئے اور ان کی شرم گاہیں نظر آنے لگیں اس مضمون کی تفصیل سورة الاعراف میں گزر چکی ہے۔
