﴿ ۞ ذَٰلِكَ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِهِۦ ثُمَّ بُغِىَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌۭ ﴾

“Thus shall it be. And as for him who responds to aggression only to the extent of the attack levelled against him, and is thereupon [again] treacherously attacked - God will most certainly succour him: for, behold, God is indeed an absolver of sins, much-forgiving.”

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوْرٌ ”یعنی مسلمانوں پر اس سے قبل جو زیادتیاں ہوچکی ہیں اب وہ ان کا بدلہ لے سکتے ہیں ‘ اور پھر مزید کسی زیادتی کی صورت میں بھی اللہ ان کی مدد فرمائے گا۔
